Traveler's Quick Guide to Mancos!  
  • There's free wi-fi at the Mancos Public Library, Zumas Natural Foods, Arborena Wine Bar and Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters on Grand. 
  • Pick up the Wall Street Journal or New York Times (in addition to local and regional newspapers) at the P&D Grocery.  It's also home of our local butcher and great cuts of fresh meat.
  • Our full-service laundry is on Highway 160 at Willow Street  at the Mancos Valley Business Center complete with RV-parking.   And if you're road weary and the body needs a workout this is also home to Mancos Body Works.
  • If you need auto parts,  car repairs, tires or to change out that propane bottle  Cox Conoco is on the east end of town. 
  • You can recycle your paper and metal at the south end of Beech street next to the elementary school.  From Grand and Main to west down Grand to Beech and take a left; go one block to the huge bins at end of the street .
  • There's a drive-thru ATM machine at the Mancos Valley Bank at 138 W. Main Street.
  • And don't forget to tune into KSJD Dryland Community Radio at 104.1 or KSUT 4-Corners Public Radio at 100.1.

Bauer Street (off Main Street across from Boyle Park) for the inside scoop on where to eat, sights to see and places to stay.  We have a great collection of maps and guide books to get you safely into the high country, too!   Whether it's hikes, birding or a visit to the Louis L'Amour Room we're ready to help you get your feet on the ground in the wonder-full Mancos Valley, GATEWAY TO MESA VERDE.
